Shared broadband puts several customers on the same capacity, calls the ratio contention (1:3, 1:10 and up), and the speed you get depends on what the others are doing. It is cheap for that reason, and fine for browsing.
A dedicated link removes the sharing. The capacity is reserved for you, the ratio is 1:1, and it is symmetrical: upload equals download. What is dedicated internet access?
A connection where the capacity you pay for is yours alone, all day, in both directions. Nobody else's traffic shares it, so the speed at 09:00 on Monday is the speed at 20:00 on Friday. It comes with a service level agreement rather than a fair-use policy.
How is dedicated connectivity different from uncapped business fibre?
Uncapped fibre removes the data limit but not the sharing. The line is contended with other users, often at 1:3 or higher, and download is usually much larger than upload. A dedicated link is 1:1 and symmetrical: 100 Mbps means 100 Mbps up and down, reserved for you, with a written fault response.
How quickly can you connect a site in Gqeberha?
